The C.W. Williams Community Health Center has been designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) since 1981. FQHCs are community-based organization that provides comprehensive primary care, preventive care, oral care and mental health services to persons of all ages, regardless of their ability to pay or health insurance status.
As such, our mission at CWWCHC is to improve the spiritual, physical and psychosocial status of the residents of Mecklenburg and surrounding counties by providing access to the highest quality comprehensive family health and ancillary services to all, regardless of their ability to pay.
CWWCHC is currently working toward obtaining Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition. By obtaining PCMH, CWWCHC will be recognized a quality medical home by the government and many insurance companies. Every department works together to provide quality care to every patient as your wholistic health is our primary concern. Our providers work in teams to insure you receive care specific to your needs. CWWCHC strives to care for each patient physically, mentally, and emotionally by offering an array of services and educational opportunities. CWWCHC will continue to serve our community in every way possible.
